A few weeks ago, I got to take Kaiti’s senior pictures around Broad Ripple. The weather was great and the lighting was even greater. If you saw my facebook post, you saw that I said Kaiti’s grandma is a big reason that I’m a photographer today. Here’s a little back story on that.
Kaiti’s grandpa is actually my families physician and my mom used to be his nurse for 12 1/2 years. After my first year of 4H doing the photography project, Kaiti’s grandma reached out and offered to help me with my project the next year. She had a nice film SLR camera and she would take me to different places to take my photos whenever it was 4-H season. This continued every single year until I graduated high school. I’m extremely grateful for her help, both artistically and financially during my 10 years as a 4H member. So like I said…if it weren’t for her…I probably wouldn’t be the photographer that I am today.
But back to Kaiti! The last time I saw her before this session, she was probably 9 or 10. I can’t believe she’s already a senior. She made my job a walk in the park because she didn’t take a single bad photo. She’s probably one of the most photogenic seniors I’ve ever shot! She also had some really great outfits. She’s a brand ambassador for the Little Bit Gypsy Boutique at the Red Racoon in Rockville, IN.
We drove to a few places I’d never shot before around Broad Ripple and I’m really happy with the results!
