I’m an Indianapolis transplant originally from a small, rural town in Indiana. Most days, you will find me cuddled up on the couch watching Netflix with my dog and husband. I’m always on the go, so I take any downtime I can get! I’m an introverted extrovert. I may come across as quiet and reserved at first, but get to know me and I’ll never shut up. I love to travel and enjoy new experiences. Most of all, I love meeting new people and hearing their stories. Everyone has a story, and telling it through photos is truly an honor and the best job ever!
I discovered photography in the third grade when I joined 4-H. In my town, 4-H was something everyone did as a kid. Instead of raising animals, I wanted to do something more creative, so I did the photography project. I was hooked and that’s what started my photography journey.
Growing up as a gay man in a midwestern state, I had little hope I’d ever get to be married myself, let alone photograph the wedding of a love that looked like mine. Now, I’m so fortunate to spend my time celebrating couples from all walks of life. I proudly photograph ALL types of weddings, including LGBTQ+ weddings.
Brandon is my person. My mans. My biggest cheerleader. My husband. We’ve been together since the end of our freshman year of college and got married recently! We love traveling to new places, trying new coffee shops, binging far too many shows on Netflix, and doing life together with our mini goldendoodle, Davis.
Doodle dad life is the best life. Davis was added to the fam back in the Fall of 2017. He’s named after none other than Brooke Davis from One Tree Hill...because in this house, we love OTH. He loves people, treats, and long walks on the sidewalk...the beach too, but he doesn’t do that often (Indiana probs).
I’m a city boy through and through, but I spent my childhood living in a small, rural town with less than 300 people. Going to a college that was 150 miles away from home and moving to Indianapolis afterward opened my eyes to how diverse the world actually is and has helped me develop so much as a person. I love Indy and am so glad to call it home.
I love a good true-crime podcast. A few years ago, I started listening to Crime Junkie and My Favorite Murder and it’s spiraled uncontrollably ever since. Some of my favorites outside of the true-crime genre are Armchair Expert with Dax Shepard, Drama Queens, and You’re Wrong About.
Most people would consider me a picky eater, but I’m a self-declared foodie. There might be a lot of things I don’t eat, but there’s a ton more that I do, my developing dad bod will vouch for that. I love trying new restaurants and getting drinks with friends around Indy. My current favorite is Livery. Those empanadas are *chefs kiss.*
My love for design started in high school when I joined the yearbook staff. I originally wanted to join because of the photography aspect, but I quickly fell in love with layout design. In college, I majored in creative advertising and minored in digital publishing. I have a keen eye for design and use many design principles even when shooting.

On a wedding day, my number one goal is to make my couples feel at ease. I’m often told that my calm energy is a nice contrast to the rushed, hectic energy that sometimes comes with a wedding day. I take the approach of blending in as much as possible so I can document what’s really happening all on it’s own, but I will step in when needed to give direction to make poses feel more natural and to keep us on time. At the end of the day, I want you to have positive memories of your wedding day, not memories of a nagging photographer directing your every move all day. And most importantly, I want your photos to reflect you as a couple.
