Drew & Lauren’s wedding at Hidden Hollow Farm in Crawfordsville was so much fun! Talk about a dream venue. I know rain can be a scary thought when planning an outdoor wedding…but PEOPLE – GET. MARRIED. OUTSIDE! And then hire me to shoot it. I LOVE outdoor weddings and this Hidden Hollow Farm is the perfect venue for it.
Lauren and her bridesmaids started the day getting hair and make-up done in the lodge near the barn.
Ring LOOOOVE.
I think the thing I might have loved most about this venue is that the sliding barn doors have huge windows in them. Barn weddings are all the rave lately, but sometimes they can be extremely dark and become a photographer’s nightmare. When I told the groomsmen that they could think of something funny to do for a group photo, this is what happened. These guys were so much fun to work with and were so easy going.
Drew & Lauren opted not to do a first look. Instead, the wrote letters to each other and read them at the same time. BIG FAN of these next few photos. #emotion
Lauren did want to do a first look with her dad – look at his face! Pure happiness.
Lauren’s dress was beautiful. It also got bonus points for being super easy to fan out on the ground for photos.
Fun Fact: Drew proposed to Lauren on a hot air balloon ride!
The bridal party took “fun photos” in a little different direction than the guys. TEQUILA SHOTS!
Dancing outside is also a big plus for me. Look at all this light!
At sunset, we snuck out for a little bit to take some more couple photos.
Drew & Lauren, I had so much fun celebrating with you. Your wedding was beautiful and I’m honored you chose me to document it!
